ABOUT THESE CLASSES

TUESDAY CLASS (Yoga with Emily Reaser) - 7:30AM through June 30th:

Focused on healing at all levels (physical, emotional, spiritual), Forrest Yoga with Emily Reaser addresses modern-day ailments, anxiety, over-stimulation and a sense of disconnection through strength-building sequencing. Emily, a graduate student at the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver, has been practicing and studying yoga for over 20 years and enjoys guiding others through their own practices. While seeking a more supportive, healing approach to yoga, Emily discovered Forrest Yoga and was thrilled to study under the founder, Ana Forrest, while completing her 200-hour teacher training in Bali in Summer 2019. Currently Emily is teaching yoga and applying her practice in therapeutic sessions while she pursuing her MSW.

FRIDAY CLASS (Yoga with Jess Whetsel) - 7:30AM through June 30th:

Jess Whetsel, an alumn of the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver, will be offering a 30-minute 'accessible yoga' class, opening with a centering meditation, followed by a warm-up and gentle movement, and end with a brief savasana. Participants can choose to practice on their mat or in a chair, depending on their preference. Jess recommends that participants have a block, strap, bolster, and blanket on hand. If you do not have formal yoga props, feel free to get creative with what you have around your home. A sturdy book or box can make a great block; a belt, necktie, or bathrobe tie. All levels welcome!
