9:30 Adrian Butler: The Wild Child of the Soil: The Symbol of the Datura Plant in Southwestern Art, from Ancient Native American Cultures to O’Keeffe
10:00 Callie Cherry: “No, I Never Went Back:” Shirin Towfiq and the Narrative of Migration
10:30 Alexandra Sheeler: The Missing Portrait of John Locke
There will be a brief introduction and a short break halfway through the program. Each student will have approximately 20 minutes for their paper, with 10 minutes allotted for questions. One top paper from each category (undergraduate and graduate) will receive $100, to be determined by faculty after the event.
